Growth Edition
Formerly IDS Workgroup Edition: the most important features for medium-sized database applications on Linux and Unix.
Express Edition
The low-cost entry-level database of the Informix product line for small working environments.
Choice Edition
For Windows and Mac: up to 8 GB RAM, 2 processor sockets with max. 8 cores; licensed per LUS or AU.
Innovator-C Edition
Free for development and production – with restrictions: max. 2 GB RAM and 1 socket with 4 cores.
Developer Edition
Free for development on all common platforms; limited and not for production environments.
The paid editions Ultimate, Growth, Choice and Express are only available with maintenance.For Innovator-C there is community support via an online forum – with additional support on request.

Are there free versions of Informix?
Yes: Innovator-C (development and production, with restrictions) and the Developer Edition (development only).
Can you supply the licences directly?
